eSlip Payroll Services was formed by three industry experts determined to create a genuinely customer focused business. All three were instrumental in the development and growth of some of the UK’s largest payroll companies, however they realised that a more flexible and personal approach was needed. eSlip was born, a company specifically designed to deliver value for money and expert knowledge to SMEs.

Chris Anderson, Managing Director

With 21 years in the industry, Chris is a payroll veteran. He started his career as an IT systems engineer in 1979 and quickly ascended the ranks to become National Sales Manager for Adacom Communications in 1990. By 1991 he was ready to launch Sceptre Computer Services, which following a merger, became Rebus HR Services, one of the most successful outsourcing payroll bureaux in the UK. In 2005, Chris and his fellow directors recognised that a sea-change was occurring in the sector, requiring a different kind of company. eSlip was formed on this basis, driven by Chris’ ebullient personality and unfailing commitment to making customers happy.

Leon Lister, Director and Company Secretary

Throughout his 40 year career, Leon has worked at the forefront of modern technology and business practice. He graduated from Manchester University in 1964 and began a career in computing, working for ICL at home and overseas for a number of years during which he trained at the London Business School. Following several more years directing a major computer services company, he joined Chris Anderson and Antony Woolnough to form Sceptre Computer Services. Leon’s management skill together with Chris’ drive and Antony’s technical expertise combined to ensure the company flourished – strengths they all now bring to the eSlip team.

Antony Woolnough, Director

Completing the trio, Antony is the technical whiz behind the company. Having worked in the industry for 20 years, he has a wealth of experience in designing and implementing payroll systems, from small companies to large blue chip organisations. In 1992 Antony helped form Sceptre Computer Services and subsequently became Development Manager of Rebus HR Services after the merger. Subsequently he became part of the team managing the biggest Oracle payroll/HR implementation in the world, experience which he now brings to the wide range of clients currently working with eSlip.
